Not receiving verification codes from Atlassian

After I enter my username and password, I get the message to enter an 8-digit verification code that was emailed to my address, but no email is received. Clicking "Didn't get the code? Resend it" does nothing either.
- I've checked my spam folder and block list
- My email server isn't blocking any domains

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I understand you are unable to receive the verification email. Thank you for proactively checking the spam folder and your email domains.

We suspect that your email could be part of our suppression list.

Adding to the suppression list is a mechanism to avoid spamming recipient mail servers and indicating that an error has occurred, having identified they are not available to receive the email. The recipient may not be available due to various reasons some of which are, but are not limited to - DNS Resolution, Mailbox being full, Network issues, Firewall rules, Mailbox unavailable, Mail Servers facing reach-ability issues, User not setup, mailbox being inactive, etc.

 

To further analyze your account and check if its added to the suppression list, we request you to raise a ticket here : https://support.atlassian.com/ with our support team.

The team will further check your account and see if your email is added to our suppression list and help remove it.

Usually, when this happens it’s because you’re accidentally using a different email address than the one you used when the account was created.

Or, you used “login with Google (or something else)” the first time, or this time. 

Oh, and check your spam folder. 

If these tips are not helpful, I suggest opening a support ticket with Atlassian.
