Hi,
Can I ask if someone knows the solution to this?
Not able to add a screenshot/image to a comment on a Confluence page.
In the past, I was able to attach an image inside the (comment box), but I no longer see this option, and I'm not able to drag and drop an image to the (comment box) either.
I'm thinking that it might be a setting on the Confluence app for my access.
Is it something that I can just change in the settings?
Thank you
Dan
Hi @Dan
It seems to be still possible to add images to inline comments by drag and drop.
I can confirm this is still working on my test site, and the permissions you need to have at least are the space view, add pages, add comments and add attachments.
If you don't have the add pages or attachments for example, it should display an error mentioning you can't add images in there.
Could you try checking if the space permissions for your user/group have these permissions?
Once you confirm this, please try disabling all of your extensions, including the Grammarly one (no need to uninstall, you can just toggle off the extensions at manage extensions in Chrome).
Once the extensions are toggled off, please try opening an incognito window and see if it works.
Alternatively, you can try in another browser and see if the issue still happens.
Let me know how it goes. :)
Regards,
Jessica
