I have an user, which was deactivated in Confluence for a while. The mail of this user account was deleted by the mail provider and doesn't exist anymore...

Today I've tried to reactive the user in Confluence.

A new mail account was created for the user with an identical mail address - like in the past. I've tried to reset the users password, but no mail was not delivered to the users mail account.

How can I fix this problem? Is there a mail address black list, which I can configure?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Carsten,

Can you confirm what version of Confluence this is one? The answer depends on that. If it's Cloud, I can have a look and see if it's being blacklisted in our mail system.

Hi Carsten,

Thank you!

I don't want to have you post any further personal information online, so I'm going to email you now in a support ticket to get more details.
