I have a separate email that was invited to join Confluence. When I follow the link it wants me to set a password then prove I'm human through Captcha. It loops through several image match requests then gives this message:
"We are having trouble verifying reCAPTCHA for this request. Please try again. If the problem persists, try another browser/device or reach out to Atlassian Support."
I have tried multiple browsers and have the same issue. When I try and reach out to support it will not let me because I do not have an account associated with that email address.
How do I get support for this?

From what I understood, you are trying to join a Confluence site that invited you with a different account that you used to create this thread, but are unable to complete the account creation and therefore join the Confluence invite.
I'd like to try a few things to see if you are successful creating the account and then joining the site where you were invited.
If you require to create a new account, could you please try accessing in an incognito window the URL https://id.atlassian.com/?
Try to create the account there and let me know if the results are different.
In case you are still not able to create the account from there, are you able to use another internet connection (such as 4G/5G or another wifi connection for example) and see if the results are the same?
Last test would be trying to create the account on your phone or another machine (personal computer, another laptop, etc).
I'm asking you these steps as in similar scenarios, one of them was VPN blocking users to finish the account creation/password setup with the recaptcha issue, other times it was just a matter of trying in another machine, as the first recaptchas failed, it wouldn't allow the completion there in the same browser/machine, requiring a try in another machine and it successfully finished.
If this still doesn't work, please let us know and we will proceed with a ticket creation, as we may need further information and logs to investigate further.

Made sure all vpn's were off on my computer and still had the same issue. Tried from my mobile phone and instead of using Captcha it sent me a verification email and I was able to create my account.

Were you able to successfully join your Confluence invite?
In case you run into any issues joining through the link invite, try accessing the site URL with the /wiki at the end.
