New Atlassian OnDemand Interface - Default to Confluence instead of JIRA

Lawrence Ho October 14, 2012

How do I setup our users such that they see Confluence instead of JIRA when they login to Atlassian OnDemand?

In the past, there were two tabs with one of them called Wiki. This makes it apparent where to go. However, with the new interface, these navigation aid is now hidden behind the logo. This will be a source of confusion that I rather avoid.

Hello,

Sorry but this is not possible. To direct access, customers have to add /wiki ate the end of your instance URL. We have an open improvement for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AOD-5994.

Furthermore, in many cases JIRA requires a login and Confluence does not. So anonymous users can't get in without knowing how to add /wiki to the url :( :(.
