I am an org admin and need to change a user's last name.
I sent a request to update information to the user and the email says "Your Atlassian Cloud admin would like you to change some details of your Atlassian account." The user clicks the Change Details button and it returns a Managed Account error saying "Your account is managed. Contact your administrator to change your email address."
The user also independently tried to change details and is able to change their Public Name but not their Full Name. The system says "Full name is set by your admin.", which I think should be me (along with a few others), but I don't know what to do.
Hi @Lisa Surowiec ,
If you are an org admin, you will be able to change the user name of by following below steps :
In the Admin Console, go to Directory > Managed Accounts.
Find the User using the search bar.
Double Click on User's Name, make the changes and click save changes.

Thank you. When I do that I get this message:
Managed accounts are more secure
When you manage accounts, you can apply authentication policies, update account details, reset passwords, and even log everyone out if necessary.
Before you can manage accounts, you need to verify the domain to take ownership of the accounts. Once that’s done, if someone has an email address that matches your domain, you can claim and manage their account.
I clicked the "View domains" button
