Hi all,

I have a draft of a database in a space in one organization (e.g. org1.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/my_test_space) and I would like to copy or move it to another organization (e.g. org2.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/our_team_space). I can see an option to move between spaces under one organization, but not across organizations. Is this possible?

(I hope that "organization" is the correct terminology for the area containing all our spaces and apps).

I don't have data in there - I know how to export that if I needed - but I do have a database structure I made to test features, and I'd like to reuse that. Alternatively if there's a way to download the data structure, please let me know.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi @Paul Sutherland

Welcome to community!

Looking at what you are trying to do you are referring to indivudal spaces correct and not the entire confluence database?

If so(based on the my_test_space) you would need to go to the space settings and then export the space

In the new confluence you would need to import the space under the confluence admin page.

In addition if users have different user names in the new area you also then need to modify the space after.

Its a very manual process to move between instances.

Best,

Clark
