Move back "up" an outline level? (inverse of Tab)

OK, I get that I can move down an outline level (1. -> a.) by Enter + Tab, but now how do I move back up (b. -> 2.)?

Have you tried using Shift + Tab? That works for me to move back up the level of an outline.
