Hello All,
I have configured an instance of Confluence Cloud.
After that, I have configured Service Desk, which has a totally different address, but anyway, I found out there's a knowledge base that in all essence IS another Confluence instance.
I've tried to link the first instance of Confluence to the KB, but it won't find it.
So, I was wondering if there's a way to move that first Confluence instance to a new KB instance within Service Desk, ensuring that all content and settings are carried over.
Have you got any experience with this and how did you do it ?
Thank you very much !
Hi @Eugenio Bartolo ,
you could do a Confluence backup and re-import it in your new instance.
You can find the documentation to create the backup file here : https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-site-backup/
And how to import it back into the other instance : https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/migrate-a-confluence-cloud-site-to-an-existing-cloud-site/
Let me know if this helps,
--Alexis
Hi @Alexis Robert , thank you very much for your reply.
I have just done that, but as I import it back, I retrieve an error message.
I'm trying just now to re-export the first instance.
Thanks.
(EDIT: exporting for "cloud backup")

Hi @Alexis Robert ,
I've created an export (with no attachments, this time) and I still get an error message during the import process in the new instance.
Any other ideas ?

If you're getting an error message on Cloud, there's not much you can do : you should contact Atlassian Support as they will be able to give you more details on how to fix this : http://getsupport.atlassian.com/
