Hello Experts,
when we add New Users to Our Confluence Azure AD Group, it take time (i think over night) thats the User in Atlassian availible.
In the KnowledgeBase Manage user syncing | Atlassian Support | Atlassian Documentation I found this site, but i havent the Azure Menu Point in the admin.atlassian site.
Why? How can i sync my Azure to Atlassian?
Best Regard,
Felix Wich
Hi Felix,
Are you an Atlassian Access administrator?
Are you able to see any of the user directory settings in Atlassian Access?
kind regards,
Charlie
Hi Charlie,
i dont see any Directory Settings, but iam Logged in with an administrator Account.
The connection ist established and working with our Directory...
Any Ideas? Thanks! Have a Nice day

A Confluence administrator is not the same as an Atlassian Access administrator.
The Atlassian Access menu structure changed over time so that screenshot might not be up to date.
When you go to https://admin.atlassian.com/ you should be able to select you site. Then go to Security -> Identity Providers (on the left).
Do you see you Azure AD on that page now?
But for the sync: I think you have to specify when to sync users on the Azure side, not in Atlassian.

Hi!
i have Security -> identity Providers and there is a connection established. But there i dont have any chance to sync now or to change the sync settings :(

Can you check your Azure AD settings in the Azure portal?
I'm quite sure that the sync interval must be configured on the Azure side.

I will have a look, but until this time i dont find any configuration in direction atlassian :-( but iam new to azure.
what I find strange is that on the screenshots of Atlassian's guide in the Atlassian Admin Portal, the item "Azure AD Sync" does not exist.

Documentation is confusing and maybe need to be updated. One page refer to a sync setting in https://admin.atlassian.com/
(https://support.atlassian.com/provisioning-users/docs/set-up-sync-settings/)
This setting is not visible for me.
I did found configuration of sync in Azure in Microsoft documentation before finding this dicussion while looking for "sync setting not visible":

Bad documentation or bad configuration?
