Make Child Pages Collapse By Mouse Away or Clicking another Parent?

Hello, we are using the Children Display option to create a menu bar in a line across, we have found that you can click ALL of the Parents at once creating a very overwhelming overlapping bar of menus.  Is there a way to make the children only show up on mouseover? Or only showing ONE at a time?
