Macro with Last Modified Date that doesn't change Edited

I want a macro that I can add to old pages that says something like "This page hasn't been updated since <date>"

However, once I've added the macro, I don't want the date to update any more. (I could add tags or something, but the date I did those is not important. I want to keep displaying the date of the last *important* update.)

Is such a thing possible in Confluence 6.1?

Update is Update.
Confluence does not distinguish between important and unimportant updates
