Macro or shortcut to do repetitive tasks

Laurent Bazinet September 15, 2013

Hi,

I am looking for a way to create a macro or a shortcut for repetitive tasks. As an example, I would like to define a basic structure for a table. This table can have multiple rows and columns but should have at least some pre-defined ones. On top of this, this macro should also add an anchor for easy reference.

It should be possible to add/remove columns and modify text after the instantiation of the macro.

So far, my experience with macros have been a failure in the sense that macros do not display their result structures but a box representing the code. Only when the page is redered does it shows. This does not allow me to add/remove rows or columns etc.

It would more look like a template but with a shortcut like a macro... How can one do this?

Thanks

Okay, I think what I want is to render a macro directly in the editor. That would be the proper way to say what I want to achieve.

So how do we write a macro that renders in the editor (looses its macro attribute and becomes pure HTML).
