Macro / Include Page / Empty gap on top

Anders Petterson April 23, 2022

When I use the Include Page Macro, the macro adds a empty gap:

The two first boxes do not contain Include Page Macro, but the last one does.

Is there any way to remove the gap?

Hi @Anders Petterson
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.

This is something still occurring on the latest version of Confluence and might be caused by a conjunction of bugs on the editor/renderer:

  •  CONFSERVER-59636 -- auto-cursor-target - white space with Include Page Macro.
  • CONFSERVER-60252 -- Adding line breaks between two macros in a Confluence page won't be properly rendered as new lines.

The best way to circumvent this issue is to use all panels from another Include Page macros.

Here's an example with the source view.

I hope that helps.

Kind regards,

Thank you very much for the feedback, @Thiago Masutti

I use the Include Page macros quite a lot, so this is not the first time I've noticed the extra white space. But this is the first time I've have had a issue with alignment.

Unfortunately, making Include Page macros for all panels will not be a favored solution for me in this case.

I hope this bug will be solved in the future!

BR,
Anders Petterson
