Can anyone help where I can search for the pattern of log statement in atlassian-confluence.log files?

I want to forward this log file to Splunk, and in order to be able to efficiently filter/search on log statements, I need to explain what each part of log statements means.

I found answer on my own question.

Look after log4j.properties in CATALINA_HOME/confluence/WEB-INF/classes and look at line

log4j.appender.confluencelog.layout.ConversionPattern=%d %p [%t] [%c{4}] %M %m%n

Explanation of the conversation characters can found at log4j documentation, for instance: https://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/apidocs/org/apache/log4j/PatternLayout.html
