Linking to pages

Alex Ransome January 6, 2020

Hello,

How do I link to other Confluence pages that can only be seen if they are accessed by using the links on the page.

I would like a main page to appear in the page tree but when the user clicks a link from the main page a sub page appears but does not show in the page tree to the left.

Thanks for your time.

The left-hand navigation is based on the children of the page you select as your space overview (home) page - so you can either move your "hidden" pages to the root level (or in their own branch starting at the root) or move your overview page lower in the page structure.

Note: This will only obscure them from the left-hand navigation - the breadcrumb on each page will still display "hidden" pages if they are parents of the current page or if you browse pages via space settings.
