Linked application is shown on my confluence eventhough I set only incoming link with the app.

Edited

Hi all,

I have a question about application links.

I manage confluence data center, and got a request from other department of my companay, to link our confluence with their jira service management.

We established application link in 1-way like following picture, so let jira service managment can reach to our confluence.

But there is a problem with this link.

Eventhough our confluence users have no permissions to their jira service management, it is shown on our confluence screen.

I expected that jira service management is not appearable to confluence users because the link was set as one way.

And what is worse, the error message is so confusing to confluence users. I don't understand why the version is mentioned in the message.

Do you have any recommendation about this?

(Of course, I asked the Atlassian team, and got an answer there is no configuable option with this issue.)

Is anyone suffered from the same issue?

@Sienna There is not a way to change the delivered application link functionality.  I would suggest submitting a feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa
