Link to external mp4 file using Widget Connector

I have a file on another of our websites that is 59 MB so is too big to embed on a Confluence 5.10. Therefore, I can't use the Multimedia add-on.  The obvious answer is to use the Widget Connector macro. However, none of the documentation discusses an mp4 file, and linking to the file doesn't work. Do I have any options for embedding this large video on our Confluence page?

Many thanks in advance.

Tom

Hi Tom,

You could try using the HTML Macro and embed your video using this. I've seen several users successfully display their videos this way. You may just need to convert the video to another format.

Have a look at this community post from the past where a similar topic was discussed.

Kind Regards,
Shannon
