Link markup doesn't seem to work. Any ideas why?

'No Bugs' Hare February 13, 2021

We're considering Confluence Cloud to develop our internal documentation, and one thing I am missing is an ability to put placeholder links to "future pages" (which is trivial in MediaWiki).

When I've foundLink to undefined, placeholder pages - Atlassian Community - I thought it is just the ticket, BUT when I tried it - nothing happened. Moreover, while most of other markup works, link markup (everything which starts with [) - doesn't (and I tried it both in Edge and in Chrome).

Is it supposed behavior on Confluence Cloud, or something is wrong in settings, or...? All kinds of help will be appreciated.

After reading Solved: Wiki Markup is broken (atlassian.com) , I realized that I was looking for old markup in the new editor. With new editor markup in mind, it does work :-)
