Link SalesForce Customer to Confluence Page

Wendi Good December 14, 2021

Hello, I'd like to put a new field into our Salesforce Customer system information area records, with a link in it to the corresponding page in Confluence.

This is so in Salesforce when they click the link. it takes them to the respective Customer page in Confluence to view the more technical information we keep on the Customer (that isnt necessary to store in Salesforce).  How do I do this? Thank you.

Well you would create a custom field in the contact (or account) record within Salesforce that will hold the URL. But it will require that the user be logged into Confluence to actually view.

In otherwords, it is more a Salesforce issue than Confluence, if I understand your question correctly.
