License invalid after upgrade

Hi,

I have upgraded confluence to latest stable due to recent confluence hack. Now I am getting license error. I had a valid license. Can you please help us to resolve the case.

Due to recent hack issue, we have closed public access for  confluence and jira domain

License Inconsistency: Confluence support and upgrades for your current license have expired.

You'll need to supply a valid license key. Confluence can't start without this.
If you have a new license, please enter it on this page and restart.

Your old licence may have been valid, but it only allows versions of Confluence to work that are released before the end date of the licence.  You have upgraded past that end date, so the licence will not enable Confluence.

You need to buy a new licence to enable this Confluence to work.

Hi,

You are correct.  It was old version of confluence . We don't have have admin access at the moment.  Does it mean after upgrading the license it will automatically start working ?  

If not can you share me the update procedure from back end via ssh?

Yes, when you apply a valid licence, all the functionality will come back.

We have renewed it and license is listed in our account still we have the following message

Your order number is AT-75987167.

"Having a licence in your account" is not going to do anything.  You need to apply the new licence to your system by following the link in the error message that tells you what to do.

Hi,

Thx,  I have managed to update the license and its hash and restarted.  But I could see 

" Finishing up checks "  continue to run for hours.  See the attached scree shot

I get this message in logs.

License issue was solved.   Manually updated it using the below documentation and it helped.

But we have too many  issues with new confluence as our confluence was end of license. I will update it in new thread
