Jira Issue Macro won't display fields after the Description field

Kim Wallace November 28, 2023

I'm using the display options in the Jira Issue/Filter macro to select the following columns:

  • Issue Type
  • Summary
  • Created
  • Updated
  • Reporter
  • Description
  • Component/s
  • Last comment
  • Status

No other columns will display after the Description column in the resulting table.

My workaround is to move the last 3 columns before Description; they are retrieved successfully.

Why is nothing able to be displayed after Description?

@Brant Schroeder yes it returns multiple rows. Description fields might contain HTML, will definitely contain URLs.  As I'm querying a project I can't control that; the macro should be providing some sort of exception message if it's hanging on unescaped HTML

@Kim Wallace is it returning multiple rows?  Does the description field contain any html?
