JIRA ticket status to display in a status macro

How can I pull a JIRA ticket status to display in a status macro?

I want to display a status macro with a color based on the status of a JIRA ticket. Can i do that?

My question is different. Once I pull in a JIRA filter into the confluence wiki page, can I show a color background on the Status. For example Resolved with a green background on the JIRA query displayed on the wiki page

I did try reproducing this, and I couldn't. Don't think that's possible. 

I'm sure if there is a solution someone from the community will help here :)
