Issues with parent-child restrictions

We have a space with the restriction that "only some person has the possibility to edit"

- one of these persons wanted to edit a child page and she only has the view permissions.

I want to know how I can chanhe this- she needs to have edit rights!

Hi @Anita Hütter

You can change this in your content’s Restrictions window. To open this window, click the lock icon at the top of any content.
The Overview page in your space will not have a lock icon. To access the restrictions
window for your Overview page, select the More actions menu  > Restrictions.

Thanks

Hi @Anita Hütter

The user will need edit in space persmissions to be granted edit on a page within it, because space level settings overrides content level settings. Have a look at this page and see the yellow notice box in that document.

TimK.

Thank you all!

In the parents page the customer got his edit permissions because she was added per name- I added her now in the child page also with her name- now it worked.

If you only apply the same rights like in the parentpage she only had the view permissions.
