Issue with presenting

tamaraarekat January 11, 2024

Hello

I have created a status/ report dashboard and want to be able to present it with ease.

To begin with, I start with the dashboard page. I navigate within the page easily (the title looks good, move on to agenda and then table using the space button or arrows).

The dashboard lists 9 projects. When I click on the first one to go onto its page, I try to use the space button and arrows to present the information on the page but the page gets stuck. It keeps scrolling up when I try to scroll down. The space button and arrows no longer work. I have to exit and go back on the page for it to smoothly move on from one section to the other.

As the whole purpose of presenting is to show all the projects without exiting, this is proving to be really problematic. Pls advise

Thank you

@tamaraarekat Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I have not used Presenter mode yet, but, looking at this page (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/present-your-page-with-presenter-mode/ ), it looks like the Presenter mode applies to your original page and moving to other sections within the same page.

If you are jumping to another page when you click on a project, this may be introducing this odd behavior.

I also found this video on Presenter Mode from K15t (a marketplace partner, I believe). I haven't watched it, but they may mention this issue in the video or one of the resource links they provide in the video description: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qjFjZQSLsk

If not, maybe someone else in the community can provide additional information for you.
