Hello All,

Is there any way to update the Jira issue fields from the confluence page?

Example:

We have added an Jira issue using Jira issue filter macro on the confluence page. Jira issue has text fields we want to update the text fields from the confluence so that it will sync with Jira and update in Jira too...

is there any way to do this??

Thanks in advance,

Manikanta

Hello Manikanta,

I can see how that would really save time to be able to modify Jira issues from within Confluence.

This isn't a feature yet, but there are a few add-ons you could probably use to do that. One example is Issue Manager for Confluence.

We do have a feature request too, so you can vote on it and you'll be updated if there is any progress made on that, if we choose to implement it.

Thanks again, and let me know if you have any questions.

Take care!

Shannon

Hi @[deleted]

If only you are a cloud user I have an option for you:

Smart issue view for Confluence

This plugin allows you to freely define Jira issue fields to be presented on a Confluence page. You can even present a single field (such as the numer of votes). Or display a small box with all the data you need.

More importantly it is possible to edit the issue right on a Confluence page (embed issues are automatically refreshed).

Clicking the summary opens a small dialog that allows you to update the fields you need. Everything right on a Confluence page.

Sample issue presented on a CF page:

Please note, that this is a cloud only plugin.
