Is there a way to create section templates?

Is it possible to create section templates, i.e. templates for only part of a page that can be inserted into a page?  e.g. if we have a standard document information section that we can create this as a template, and allow users to use this to insert a section into any page they create.

I am not sure if I understand you use case correctly. If the template you need to insert into another page is static, you may use the Excerpt Macro and the Excerpt Include Macro.

I am not sure if the Excerpt Macro in combination with the Children Display Macro does solve more use cases to fetch multiple fragments. If not, then there are third-party macros on the Atlassian Marketplace that allow multi-excerpt using searches and static links with placeholder replacements in various forms. You may need to evaluate the available options (maybe there are more which are not advertised as multi-excerpt) to see which one supports your use case and requirements best.

I am looking for the same solution, Rob.

In my case, I would like to maintain one single page for meeting minutes and add a "template" for each session.

The outcome will be having all my notes on one page and using the template to add a new "section" for the next meeting.

What if you had a cloak macro with the way you want that section setup at the bottom of the page? This way you hide it from public view (unless you display this page using the include page macro inside a tabs or card macro, then it will display that no matter what) and you can just copy and paste it to the next section you add.
