Is there a way to add another sidebar/panel to the right?

Hi. I'm new to confluence but I am good with HTML.

I'm wondering if there is a way to have another sidebar or frame to the right?

Currently left sidebar has links and page tree. What I'm trying to accomplish is to have a Wiki/Help style link that opens on an additional frame to the right that allows the user to have an online guide to follow while they fill in the forms the opens up.

You will need to modify space layout in your Confluence space - that is a velocity template (html mixed with velocity template instructions)

and you can have you pages to look the way you want

One problem is that our site under part of a large tree and the site admin is not willing to modify any structure of the site itself.

I'll try to see if I can somehow manage with html5 codes.
