Can sensitive data such as customer name and number be accessed by anyone using Confluence if I have not given them permission.

Hi @Jai Lohia ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

Please check Space permission in order to check who can access that space. Moreover, my suggestion is to use Page Restriction to protect specific pages with sensitive information.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi @Jai Lohia and welcome to the community,

By default, confluence spaces are opened and the information inside can be seen by any logged in user.

If you have admin permissions in Confluence you can check the global permissions for the platform. Also you can check your space permissions so you can assure yourself if the space permissions inherit the global ones.

Please also check the following documentation to understand how the permissions in Confluence are organized:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/understanding-permission-in-confluence-979403839.html

Hope that helps!

Velizar
