We have several pages with a table of contents at the top of each of them, where the table is inside an Excerpt macro. We'd like to create a "general index" page to show the table of contents of other pages using the "Excerpt include" macro.
When we try to do the above, the "Excerpt include" doesn't show any table of contents. Other non-table of contents items (like regular text) works as expected. The Confluence documentation doesn't mention any restrictions about including a "Table of Contents" macro inside an "excerpt include" one.
Many thanks in advance!
Hi and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
What you are trying to do is not possible I'm afraid. It has been requested in this open feature request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-72469
Thank you, Charlie. Here my vote to promote this request to completion.
