Is it possible to create "auto" variables in a (confluence) template? (in an out of the box solution- no 3rd party)

- which generate system information automatically when a page is created from the template? like "currentDate" (would result in the current date)? Thanks in advance!

Hi Niklas,

With our Page Tree Creator Add-on you can create templates based on normal Confluence pages. The Add-ons supports the following "auto" variables:

Default Tag	Description
__Current_Country__	Place the current country
__Current_Date__	Place the current date
__Current_Day__	Place the current day within the month, e.g. 15
__Current_Month_Number__	Place the current month as number, e.g. 8
__Current_Month_Text__	Place the current month as string, e.g. April
__Current_Time__	Place the current time
__Current_User__	Place the current user
__Current_WeekDay__	Place the current week day, e.g. Monday, Tuesday...
__Current_Year__	Place the current year
__Template_Creator__	Place the user, which created the template
__Template_last_modification_Date__	Place the modification date of the template
__Template_last_Modifier__	Place the user, which has most recently edited the template
__Template_Space__	Place the space of the template
__Template_Title__	Place the title of the template
__Template_Version__	Place the version of the template
