Is it possible to a comala document manager to a specific folder and its contents only?

I'd like to create a bunch of folders in one space like: 

Dept 1a - apply a specific workflow

Dept 1b - apply a different, specific workflow

Dept 2a - Another different workflow 

Dept 2b - another different workflow

Does anyone know if this functionality is possible?
