Is it possible for Jira to show Zendesk ticket status on a Project it was linked to?

Darwin I'm New Here Sep 09, 2022

Basically, we linked our Zendesk tickets to a Jira project and linked ticket count is showing on the details pane. What I want to see is if it is possible to show the ticket status count like for Open and Pending tickets on Jira aside from Zendesk Support linked tickets count.

Hi @Darwin

This is Dhiren from Exalate.

Exalate, provides a fully bi-directional synchronization between Zendesk and Jira (among other ITSM systems) that is fully customizable. It is easy to set up and the entire customization can be configured using a no-code interface.

To answer your question, it is absolutely possible to sync the Status of the ticket in Zendesk to Jira Project via Exalate.

If you would like to see a customized demo of the product in action, feel free to book a slot with us.

Thanks
Dhiren

@Diana_Architect_ZigiWave and @Dhiren Notani_Exalate_  Please review the Atlassian Community guidelines as you are not supposed to advertise for your plugins. The only one time you can do so when there is no other option with Jira out of the box.

Best,

Fadoua

@Darwin hi! yes, it is possible. are the systems you've connected synced? a tool like ZigiOps can help you connect (bi-directionally) Jira and Zendesk and sync their data (keeping them up to date in real-time). it has an advanced mapping and customization features so your use case will easily be achieved - you can tweak it to display the status of the tickets. feel free to check it out and if you want to see it in action, book a demo

@Darwin

My very first thought is try to create a JQL then save it as a filter which you can display on a dashboard using a gadget.

My understanding is you want to visualize the number of issues in each status right?

Best,

Fadoua
