We have an interest in using Confluence to display interactive SVG's inline in our documentation. This interactivity is limited to hovering over areas of the SVG which highlights the part and description, nothing too fancy.
However, it seems all SVG's are being converted to images when placed in Confluence. I'm guessing this is due to security concerns?
If not, is there a plugin or "feature unlock" I should be looking into to gain the ability to place my interactive SVG's inline to my documentation?
Thanks
Simon
Welcome to the community, @Simon Lord 👋
As far as I can discover, Confluence Cloud does not support this. Nor can I find a related enhancement request—which surprises me. You may want to create one. Let us know if you do, so we can vote for it.
At least one of the Atlassian Marketplace apps appears to enable you to do what you describe, but I have no firsthand experience in this area and I did not take a closer look at the rest of them (or try different searches).
I hope this helps,
