Instead of using Attachments, is there a way to save an Excel file directly to a Confluence page?

A colleague works in Excel; when he save his file he wants to save it directly into the Attachements of his Confluence page without having to drag-n-drop or browse.

Hi Tom,

I understand you'd like to attach a file to a page without dragging and dropping the file or using the browse button.

I can't think of another way to add an attachment to the page, but I'd like to understand the request better. As these are the typical methods of uploading files to webpages, is there some other method your colleague had in mind they'd like to use? What goal are they trying to accomplish that can't be done with drag-and-drop or the Browse button?

Thanks!
-Zak
