Hello,
I am trying to create a wiki page with a checklist that users can access. The idea is that when these users access it we want them to see a unique or 'instanced' checklist that is unaffected by other users.
So if user1 has item 1 checked and user 2 has 1 and 2 checked, they each will see the same when they are logged in. Right now when accessing this page, if user 1 edits it, the same checks are seen by user 2.
Is there a setting or something I can use to have this individual page w/ checklist to only show user1's checklist to user1? Please help. Thanks!
Hello Andrew,
I don't believe that this is a functionality that we would roll into the default behavior of Confluence. We have a piece of wiki software that encourages collaborative editing.
I think having a versioned task list is a great idea. I can definitely see the business use for this function.
Internally we use something like that when we onramp a new employee. We just have the person copy the default page into their personal space and complete the task list there. This makes sure that they are not disturbing the original.
If you are set on the kind of functionality that yououtline above you may want to contact one of our experts to help you create a custom plugin that encapusulates this functionality.
Thanks for your quick response. This is a small task so I don't believe a custom plugin needs to be worked on. I appreciate the help!

One other note I should add, I have been playing around with the {include:TEST PAGE} macro, if the page with the macro was edited currently 'TEST PAGE' gets modified too. Is there a flag to turn this dependancy off? So that users who went to the page with the macro could edit the checklist mentioned above and it would not change the master? Thanks again.
