Inserting Markdown with support for Jira Ticket Macro (Confluence: 7.4.13)

Frederik Mann December 22, 2021

Confluence Version: 7.4.13

If I write a confluence page and copy&paste e.g. "https://mycompany.atlassian.net/browse/PROJECT-123" it will trigger the Jira Ticket Macro and link the ticket, title and current status.

If I insert any kind insert markdown via + -> Markup, this does not happen.

This results in a standard link.

|Apex Class Name|Description|Linked JIRA Tasks|
|---|---|---|
|ClsClass|Description|[PROJECT-123](https://mycompany.atlassian.net/browse/PROJECT-123)|

Any ideas when converting markdown to confluence, how to trigger the Jira Ticket Macro?

In Confluence Cloud, I can insert markdown directly and it resolves the ticket as well.

Hi @Frederik Mann

Insert the content as raw. It should work.

Maybe the last line is inline with the link.
