How can one indent a code block macro or image inside of a number list without it automatically creating a next level sub-item?
So are we beyond the near future far enough to reconsider ?
Hi Kris,
This is not possible within a numbered or bullet list, as the tab feature is expected to create the next level in your list.
It was reported in the past as a suggestion, but we have decided not to pursue this in the near future.
Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Regards,
Shannon

I found this is possible with "soft" line break, which occurs with Shift+Enter.
Soft line break also explains why pasting text blocks into various Atlassian products does strange things to paragraphs and so is good to be aware of.
