https://example.com/labels/listlabels-alphaview.action shows all the page labels alphabetically.
I want to highly utilize the searching via labels, but the "Related Labels" column seems to have a 25 label limit, which means a lot of the labels are missing when searching this way.
For instance, if I had a document labeled like this:
labels: troubleshooting, InternalApplicationXYZ, customer, error-codes, departmentx, ...
I would LIKE to:
Click "troubleshooting"
Click "InternalApplicationXYZ" (from the "Related Labels")
Click "error-codes" (from the "Related Lables")
With the 25 label limit on "Related Labels", often "InternalApplicationXYZ" and even "error-codes" don't even show up.
Is there a way to increase the 25 "Related Labels" limit?
Alternatively, so there an add-on (or some other way) that one to narrow down searches by viewing and clicking on labels (instead of having to know labels ahead of time and try to type it into the search bar)?
Thanks!
Hi @Alex Spitzer welcome to the community! I'm not aware of a way to increase that limit with the base application. CONFSERVER-33361 was entered on Atlassian's Jira Site for the Data Center / Server product to increase this but it was closed several years ago due to not being very popular.
You could try opening another one with some more information why you would see this as a need for your site and see if that one gets a little more traction.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the reply @Dan Breyen! The "wont fix" status makes me sad. I'll try opening a ticket, but I am pretty sure it'll end up with the same fate.
Thanks again for the sad news!
