In Team Calendar, is it possible to disable the What field's requirement?

For example, this image. Under Vacation, which for us is a Custom Event Type, it defaults to having a required "What" field. For one of our Custom Events (e.g. a sick day/personal development sort of day event), we'd prefer to not have this as a requirement for privacy reasons. How do we disable this requirement?
