Any best practices for organizing, storing, and keeping up-to-date content in Confluence Knowledge Base for better colleague user experience?

We're developing the Better Content Archiving app, which is despite the name is a full-blown solution to help maintaining content quality, periodical reviews, automatic notifications and such.
