Impact of changing primary domain name in G Suite

I need to change my primary domain name in Google Suite from my current domain name to a new one (which is currently an alias but which I need to become my primary domain name because I may lose my existing one) and I use Google for users authentication on Confluence and Trello.

What's the impact ? Will the new Google Sign-in automatically work?

Will I have to re-create all accounts with the new domain name?

Or can I just migrate existing users?

I'm wondering if you completed your G Suite primary domain migration?

I will be doing the same thing this month and had the same questions/concerns you raised.
