Images inline with text.

William Comstock Walker III February 22, 2022

I am trying to produce a guide for the use of software.  Where possible, we like to use images that match the relevant UI element in our instructions, such as:

Save Button inline.png

But the best we seem to be able to do with Confluence is thus:

Save Button not inline.png

There doesn't seem to be an 'inline' option for images in Confluence that I'm able to find?

Hi @William Comstock Walker III

Here is a feature request on the same

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68501

As of now Inline text that you are referring to is not supported

The best you could do is follow as below

A3.png

The workaround is adding the inline text with Emoji

Let me know if you have any queries

Thanks

I am building user documentation in a 'sandbox' space and creating custom emojis for user interface elements. Once we move these pages to the final destination space, how can we move the custom emojis over. Will we have to reinsert them into the pages, or will they remain in place?
