Images do not load in Firefox since Confluence 6.10.1

enqs-bb July 30, 2018

Hi,

After migrating our server to Atlassian Confluence 6.10.1 images are not loaded any more. Thubnails are displayed correctly, but after clicking on the thumbnail, POST request to load the full sized image returns a HTTP 403 and loading icon is displayed forever.

This issue does only occur in Firefox browser (version 61.0.1). Everything works fine with Chrome.

Same issue with any re-loaded content, e.g. calender.

Any hint how to use Confluence 6.10.1 in any browser (at least Firefox and Chrome)?

Thanks.

Kind regards,

Birger

We solved the problem caused by incorrect reverse-proxy configuration on our server.

Solution is described here:

Hi, Birger.

  1. Does the issue happen on all or specific machine?
  2. Does the issue persist when you access confluence from firefox private mode?
  3. Try to clear the browser cache and see if the issue persist
  4. Does the issue persist if you uninstall and re-install Firefox?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Suren,

Thanks for your quick response:

  1. Yes, issue happens on all our Windows and Mac machines using Firefox browser.
  2. Yes, issue also happens in FF private mode.
  3. Already tried this. Deleted cookies, cache, active logins, and offline-data. Issue still happens.
  4. Yes, tried this today. Issue still happen.

We used Confluence before in an older version and never had these problems in any browser...

Looking forwared to hearing from you again.
