Images are not displayed on a Confluencce page

Hello,

I attach images on a confluence page, but after some time they disappear.

I can still see them as attachments, but they are not displayed on the page the way they are supposed to.

The other day I managed to fix this by cleaning the cached images, but today this does not work anymore. 

Any ideas?

Hello @Milena Komitska and welcome to the community.

This bug ticket is related. I know because I triggered it :)

This sometimes happens, at least in my case, when I copy paste content from a different Confluence site or a website. The image behaves fine, then doesn't display although the file's there.

Same thing when you rename images.

The only thing that worked for me was to delete the file and drag and drop the image file to a page from Finder (on a Mac, on windows it would your Explorer).

Hello @Kristian Klima, thank you very much for replying and the suggested reason.

As it has happened to me before, I indeed saved the images locally and then attached them to the page and then used those attached images into a certain place of the page.

Until now, this approach seemed to work, but not anymore, thus I decided to look for some help here ...
