I like to merge the data from office excel and table on the condition if T1. JIT_no = T2.Jit_no.

Hi,

I have 2 parts to my requirement.

In office excel, the update from the excel(source file) that is kept on the SharePoint folder is not automatically getting updated in the confluence. I have to upload excel as an attachment, lock it and upload every time I like to see the new updated data. Can there be any solution yet to this?

I cannot buy the Microsoft connector as it cost 16,000 $.

Second part is that I need to concat /merge the data from office excel present in one confluence page and another table (each column of that is created using the table excerpt include) with the condition that T1.Jit_no = T2.JIT.No.

How can I do that?

Thank you,

Jaya

Hi @Jaya Sharma,

As you’ve mentioned the Table Excerpt Include macro, I assume that you have our app – Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.

What concerns the first requirement, we don’t work with the Sharepoint due to the access restrictions.

But you may try the following workarounds:

Use Google Sheets instead and connect them to your Confluence page using the Table from CSV macro

Keep everything in Confluence and use the Excel-like Table Spreadsheet macro for your table (you may export the existing table in .xlsx and .csv formats and import your data to the Table Spreadsheet macro)

What concerns the second requirement, you may use the Table Transformer macro and its standard Look up preset to join the first table (coming from the Table from CSV or Table Spreadsheet) and your second table that is Table Excerpt Include macro.

Hope I was able to give you some hints regarding the question.
