I can't delete a product associated with my organization (The product is free and inactive). I read the instructions at the following link but it seems to be different from the instructions.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.
It appears that your subscription to the product was Cancelled yesterday.
As per the document you referenced the product will be retained for the option to reactivate it until what would've been the next billing data following the date you submitted the cancellation.
There will then be a 15 day period during which you can change you mind.
Then the product will actually be deactivated/deleted.
If you have the improved billing experience there is an addition 60 days before the product is fully removed.
