We have configured Confluence authorization using Jira accounts (the link between applications is configured). Once we found a problem in the work of Confluence - did not open the page with the system settings. We decided to re-add the link between Jira and Confluence, but that did not help. Later it was found out that the problem was in the finished disk space in Confluence server.
After freeing up the disk space, it turned out that it is no longer possible to log in to the system - it shows an error, asks to re-enter the login and password and fill in the captcha.
tcpdump shows that Confluence still asks Jira for information about users, although the link is no longer there.

How now to break the link between Confluence and Jira?
To stop Confluence from using Jira for user management you may disable the Jira user directory in Confluence under Confluence Admin>User Directories as described in: Configuring User Directories.
To get logged into Confluence so you can disable the Jira user directory, first follow the instructions for your version of Confluence on this page: Restore Passwords To Recover Admin User Rights. If you are running a version prior to Confluence 5.10, use the Confluence 5.10 instructions.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Ann
Thank you so much! We fixed everything and setup the connection again!

If you are completely locked out, can you access Confluence with the admin account manually?
