I can edit, but not move a page

I created several pages and organized them into a hierarchy. Without an apparent cause, the move button no longer appears on any page I edit.

I read in another post that the ability to move pages depends on permission to edit them. But I can edit the pages I created. But it seems that I can't move them.

Some pages have restricted view. If you have correct permissions in the space, but can't move the page, then you need to get added as an editor of the page to be able to move it. Hope this helps.

Please let me know more about the issue.

Is the move button missing when you are in view (not edit) mode and you check the ellipses menu?

Are you able to rearrange the pages under Space Tools>Reorder pages?

Do you mean you cannot see the screenshots or the menu is very different for you? 

Please post a screenshot of the menu where you expect to see the move option so we can get on the same page. :)

The menus appear different. On my page, which is from the Requirements template, there was a "move" icon next to the Label and Restrictions icons next to the path to the page, just above the page title. I'd prefer not to post my client's document.

My mistake, in part:While I don't see a Space tools menu, I do see an ellipsis at the top of the page and a "Move" command under it, Just not the "move" button as described above. I didn't realize this menu only appears outside of edit mode.

Here are examples of Confluence Cloud and Confluence Server pages created from the Product Requirements template. You have to scroll way over to see the move option>

The labels are down by the comments and the move option is on the ellipses menu. Please let me know what version of Confluence you are using. I tested on Confluence 6.10 and the current Cloud Confluence.
