How to use page hierarchy in task widget?

Hi, I have a project page that has sub-pages.  There are different pages for different aspects of the project and actions come from those pages.

The only options I see in the widget are to search through an entire space or put in each individual page manually.

If someone starts a new subpage for meeting minutes, that wouldn't be automatically captured in the higher level page's task widget.

Am I missing the solution for this functionality?
